The sports and active Hotel Alpenrose is located at 2,020 metres above sea level in Kühtai. Some say it is the highest winter sports resort in Tirol. As we’re so high up, the weather is usually on our side and sends us enough snow to last from November to April.
But if the weather gods should take a break every now and again, the ski resort is well equipped with snow machines. Snow is therefore guaranteed!

State-of-the-art lifts and more than 44 kilometres of slopes are just waiting for you to explore them. This family ski resort has the right descents for every skill level.

An evening’s tobogganing on the 2.5 kilometre illuminated toboggan run guarantees all kinds of fun for young and old. This experience is full of a very special kind of magic in the evenings – fun for the whole family.

If you like exploring the winter landscape on foot, you’ll love the variety to be found on the local winter hiking routes. Ever tried snow shoeing? Simply strap them on and you can traverse beautiful deep powder snow paths with ease.

The
Ziesel
A ride on the Ziesel through Kühtai’s winter landscape is pure action. This mini snowcat ascends the mountains at 35 km/h in almost complete silence! Don’t let this pass you by!
Après
Ski
A perfect day’s skiing ends with a tipple on a visit to one of the many après-ski bars or mountain huts before heading off to a relaxed family dinner. Guaranteed fun! Bar 2020 (near Sporthotel Kühtai) is also an option and opens at 10 p.m.
